Apple Ipad

Hmmm, couldn't Steve Jobs have come up with a better name?
And seriously, no multitasking capabilities, no USB ports, and as an e-reader, the backlit screen would be very hard on the eyes, I'm thinkin. Course I love my Kindle, even though it has issues too. Also it seems that you can only get apps from Apple, and it has no Flash capabilities. And no camera, even though it displays photos beautifully. Seems like for the price it should do more, and I imagine the next generation of Ipad will change some of these kind of obvious omissions.
Still, the Ipad is a cool little gizmo, and I think that it is probably fortelling the future of portable P.C.s. I am sure it will soon have alot of competition.

Free speech isn't free

Now contrast "Blogger Dies" with "Dont date this guy"...interesting that in this country, you can actually get into legal trouble for posting something mean about someone who done you wrong, but you could call the President names and attribute all kinds of despicable behavior to him, with absolutely no consequences (well at least since J Edgar Hoover died).

Blogging for class

Although i took this class 12 years ago here at COCC, well not THIS class, but you get the idea, I think I am completely out of my element, nothing is as it was....
Time to learn new stuff.
